Job Description

PLT Lead Supply Chain Planner

Create weekly production plan for a tire manufacturing facility by taking market requirements on article level and other input factors into consideration. Work in close alignment with various production departments to ensure this production plan can be successfully executed. Ensure good availability of tires within portfolio of relevant plant to ensure enable sales.

  1. Compile production requirements on article level.
  2. Work with market organization to ensure correct requirements are being produced.
  3. Create feasible production plan. Communicate production schedule and schedule changes.
  4. Understand plant constraints (Curing rates, Machine rates, etc.) and apply that knowledge to the weekly schedule.  Maintain planning database to manage these constraints.
  5. Optimize the Number of Changeovers
  6. Prepare big picture outlook of future months’ tire availability.
  7. Maintain systems to ensure best possible material planning.
  8. Leading and managing a small team of supply chain planners and production schedulers.
  9. Special projects as assigned by Plant Operations Manager.
  10. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in related field.
  • Supply chain experience.
  • Previous experience as project leader.

  • Bachelors degree in related field

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93,970-$99,495.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
