MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Warehouse Lead to support our effort at our Hanover MD site.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and execute daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are handled accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by organizing warehouse space and enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and enforce all warehouse security protocols, focusing specifically on tamper-proofing shipments, secure storage of equipment, and ensuring the integrity of all stored inventory
  • Conduct regular security audits of loading docks, storage areas, and perimeter access points. Work with third party warehouse representatives as needed.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork (Bills of Lading, receiving logs, customs documentation) is complete and compliant.
  • Take the lead in ensuring Inventory Management System (IMS) accuracy for all physical inventory locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.
  • Train and monitor staff on proper use of scanning equipment and IMS data entry procedures.
  • Provide input, analysis, and recommendations to management on strategies for improving warehouse efficiencies and optimizing workflows for both shipping and receiving.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement lean principles to reduce wasted time and resources.
  • Manage the proper utilization and maintenance of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Construct standard and heavy-duty shipping crates for equipment protection and security during shipping.
  • Perform needed BIOS burn in for network switches provided by program networks team pre-packaging and shipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment with a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise with inventory management systems (IMS/WMS) and a strong commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of shipping/receiving logistics and carrier management.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse security protocols, including best practices for securing shipm
