Your Mission

As the HR Business Partner Director, you’ll be the right hand to our Chief People Officer—scaling HR operations, aligning people strategy with business goals, and ensuring our culture evolves as we grow.

You’ll drive programs across L&D, recruitment, org design, and total rewards, while leading a growing HR team and partnering closely with operations, finance, and leadership.

 

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

• Partner with CPO and senior leaders to align HR strategies with Alpha’s business roadmap
• Lead org design, workforce planning, and performance culture initiatives

Learning & Development

• Design and scale onboarding, skills training, and leadership development
• Equip managers with tools and coaching to grow high-performing teams

Talent Acquisition

• Guide recruiting strategy, workforce planning, and employer branding
• Ensure DEI is embedded in all hiring practices

HR Operations & Systems

• Oversee HRIS, compliance, analytics, and automation
• Provide data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making

Employee Relations & Culture

• Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous feedback
• Implement mechanisms to elevate employee voice and engagement

Compensation & Rewards

• Develop competitive, equitable comp strategies and incentive programs
• Manage salary benchmarking, retention planning, and pay equity

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a multi-functional HR team
• Create a scalable HR infrastructure that aligns with company growth

 

Who You Are

• 8+ years in HR, with senior leadership experience in fast-growing orgs
• Strategic HRBP with deep knowledge of ops, org design, and compliance
• Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and passionate about building HR from the ground up
• Proven team leader with strong business acumen and cross-functional partnership skills
• Experience in construction, field-based industries, or similar environments is a plus
