Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

T. Rowe Price seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:

• Create and maintain complex technical solutions and a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications.
• Plan, implement, and develop large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications in support of Corporate Technology platforms.
• Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, solution design, and application development and deployment of applications to production.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field plus 5+ years of progressively responsible programming experience in creating Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Oracle Analytic Functions. 
• Requires 3+ years of experience with Oracle performance tuning including tuning using Cost-Based Optimization (CBO), Profiler, Explain-plan and AWR.
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling tools like CA ERwin Data Modeler. 
• 2+ years of experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys Administration, financial domain, modeling complex securities (derivatives, futures, swaps), transactions and positions.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
