About the role

Company Overview

Immunome is a clinical-stage targeted oncology company committed to developing first-in-class and best-in-class targeted cancer therapies. We are advancing an innovative portfolio of therapeutics, supported by a leadership team with deep experience in the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge therapies, including antibody-drug conjugates. Our pipeline includes varegacestat, an investigational gamma secretase inhibitor for which an NDA has been submitted to the U.S. FDA; IM-1021, a clinical-stage ROR1 ADC; IM-3050, an IND-cleared FAP-targeted radiotherapy; and IM-1617, an IND-cleared solid tumor ADC. We are also advancing a broad portfolio of early-stage ADCs pursuing undisclosed solid tumor targets.

Position Overview

Immunome is hiring a Senior Director, Field Market Access to lead U.S. field market access strategy and payer/provider engagement in support of launch readiness for varegacestat and our future oncology portfolio. This leader will translate brand strategy, clinical and economic evidence, and payer insights into an actionable field engagement model—partnering cross-functionally to remove access barriers and enable appropriate use.

The role is expected to lead, and potentially build, a high-performing Field Market Access team and external partner ecosystem, operating as a hands-on, compliant, executive presence with national and regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strategic responsibilities

  • Set field market access strategy aligned to launch/brand objectives, including coverage priorities and account segmentation, payer landscape assessment, payer education, policy and pathway planning, pull-through model design, and field playbooks across national/regional payers, PBMs, and organized provider systems.
  • Play a key role in shaping the payer and provider value narrative (clinical + economic) for field use; identify evidence gaps and partner with HEOR/Medical to close them.
  • Partner with Pricing/Contracting in strategic decision making and the field’s role in pre- and post-launch execution; provide real-world payer feedback to decision makers.
  • Define the field market access operating model and governance across Market Access, Sales, Medical, and Patient Services.
  • Provide payer/provider perspective to inform endpoints, data needs, and post-marketing plans.

Executional responsibilities

  • Lead account planning and high-impact field engagements with payer and provider decision makers to secure favorable coverage, prior authorization criteria, pathway inclusion, favorable formulary placement within IDNs, and site-of-care alignment; ensure rapid escalation and structured problem-solving for access barriers in top accounts.
  • Partner with Patient Services/HUB and Specialty Pharmacy stakeholders to optimize the patient journey and minimize time-to-therapy.
  • Contribute to development of training, tools, and compliant materials for field access teams and cross-functional partners; ensure consistent execution.
  • Contribute to building an insights engine (dashboards, payer policy monitoring, feedback loops) to inform strategy adjustments and executive updates.

Leadership Expectations

  • Serve as a visible, credible leader representing Immunome with senior payer, PBM, and organized provider executives.
  • Build a results-driven field market access organization; hire, coach, develop, and retain talent while modeling accountability.
  • Lead through influence in a matrix environment; align stakeholders, manage tradeoffs, and drive timely decisions.
  • Operate with high integrity and compliance, setting the standard for appropriate external engagement and documentation.
  • Use data and insights to anticipate risks, prioritize resources, and adapt strategy in a dynamic oncology access environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of progressive experience in U.S. biopharma market access, payer marketing, account management, or related commercial functions.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, etc.), preferred.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. payer landscape (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) and oncology/provider reimbursement dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success leading payer/provider engagements and translating strategy into field execution.
  • Oncology market access experience, including launch readiness and post-launch access optimization.
  • Prior experience building or scaling a field market access team in an emerging biotech environment.
  • Experience with specialty distribution, patient services/HUB models, and specialty pharmacy opera
