The Opportunity

Our team is dedicated to facilitating thoughtful human interaction with technology. We’re solving a number of compelling problems, including mobile triage, interactive visualization of personal health data, real-time video, wearable integrations, and social/behavioral change. 

We’re looking for a creative, design-oriented iOS developer to join our team to help empower our patients to live healthier lives, and our providers to deliver world class care. 

You will be developing and expanding our next stage of our iOS platform. This platform is mission critical for ensuring our members have access to the highest quality care. You will also be developing features that build member trust in One Medical and its mobile application.

You will be working on an application built in Swift. You will be working with engineers from multiple disciplines: Android, iOS, ML, fullstack web, security, and data science. And you will be working with partners across the organization clinical, operations, marketing, and engineering.

What you'll likely work on:

• Contribute to and improve upon One Medical’s iOS platform
• Develop features to support One Medical’s iOS app to improve our members’ experiences
• Collaborate closely with your product and design partners to execute on the team’s backlog
• Collaborate in discussions around technical architecture and, when necessary, dive deep and be a sounding board when your team hits coding challenges 

 

What you’ll need: 

• 4+ years of relevant experience in iOS development
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with partners across the team
• Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
• Experience integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with Core Data
• Experience with XCTest, including asynchronous unit testing and UI testing
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities

 

Nice-to-have skills and experiences

• Experience with application performance tuning
• Experience with CircleCI and Fastlane
• Prior experience with authentication, session management, and encryption
• Prior experience with evaluating and integrating with third party tools

This is a full-time role based anywhere in the United States.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $124,000 to $225,000 annually.  However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
