The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for leading and oversee all activities necessary to process accurate and timely payrolls for a multi-state business, including Semi-monthly and weekly payrolls.
The position is based in Vernon Hills, IL.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As Sr. Payroll Specialist USCA you will:
- This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll runs, adjustments for any discrepancies or errors.
- Analysis of all payroll data to ensure accuracy, employee data, earnings and deductions, and taxes.
- Implementation of changes to processes and procedures.
- Continuously review and optimize payroll process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit payroll related documents such as reports, and tax documents.
- Enforce accountability for procedures and deadlines with leaders and employees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Third Party Vendors.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationship by providing excellent customer service.
- Coordinates payroll year-end activities and ensures accurate W2 forms.
We believe you have
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and experience is required.
- A least 2 years of solid payroll process experience.
- Knowledge of time and attendance systems. Kronos knowledge is preferred. Experience of working in a customer facing environment is preferred.
- Intermediate Level Skills in Microsoft Excel, VLOOKUP's, Pivot table.
- Detail-orientation and discipline to follow procedures and deliver accurate results.
- A constructive way of communicating about issues, both major and minor.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Self-driven, highly motivated and independent in your work.
- Stress resistant, easily adapt to changes:
