Partners Business Consultant

*Position is hybrid. Candidate must be able to come into the Middleton, WI office a minimum of 2 days per week* 

The Business Consultant role is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing, and documenting solutions, and providing training and support to team members and end-users. This role requires excellent communication skills to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Business Consultants are also involved in refining requirements, participating in quality assurance, supporting project management, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Tasks/Duties:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. 
• Ensure requirements align with business goals and technical capabiities.
• Develop and document functional specifications and process workflows. 
• Create user cases, user stores and acceptance criteria.
• Lead training sessins for team members and end users on standard solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance during business phaces of project; including developing training materials and user guides.
• Act as liasion between business stakeholders and the development team. 
• Participate in testing and validation of solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct root cause analysts and implrment corrective actions
• Analyst data to identify trends and generate reports and dashboard to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with project managers to align on timelines and deliverables and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. 

Essential Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting processing; with a focus on understanding billing, credit, and collections processes.
• 1+ years of client facing implementation experience is preferred

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in general Business, Finance or Accounting or experience in liue of degree

Competencies:

• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience in Accounting or Finance with handling all aspects of billing, credit and collections
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently to meet project goals
• Ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience using a SaaS technical solution
• Ability and flexibility to travel (domestic and/or international)

Salary Range: $95,200 - $119,000 + 8% Incentive
