JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Harrisburg, a member of the NCAA Division III, is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for the sport of Volleyball with the Department of Athletics.

Job Duties

• Assisting the Head Coach in recruiting and program development, practice preparation and game day coaching.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check. 

• Employment with the University for this opening will require the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Hours will vary between 10 to 15 hours/week (off-season) and 25 to 35 hours/week (in season). This is a part-time hourly opening. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use,
