Responsibilities
• Process and sorts of incoming physical mail/email/scans and distributes mail to staff
• Drafts and creates letters/itemizations to be forwarded to attorneys, members and carriers
• Retrieves and logs voicemails from the department phone system based on existing workflows
• Provides clerical support to the Worker’s Compensation and Lien Department, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, emailing, typing, scanning, delivering, sorting, etc.
• Reviews old documents and checks to see whether entered into electronic file
• Provides backup service for file storage
• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required, some College or Degree preferred
• Minimum one (1) year clerical experience in a general office environment required
• Strong Keyboarding skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Professional manner and presentation a must
• Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
