Position Overview

 

The CALAIM Supervisor | Enhanced Case Manager plays a dual role in the successful delivery of our CALAIM services. This position is responsible for supervising the CALAIM team while also managing a client caseload as an Enhanced Case Manager. The ideal candidate will bring both leadership experience and a hands-on approach to supporting clients in accessing the resources and services available through the CALAIM program.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support CALAIM team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Monitor program operations and ensure compliance with CALAIM regulations and standards
  • Conduct regular case reviews and provide coaching and feedback to case managers
  • Serve as the primary contact for complex client issues or escalated cases
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies and service providers
  • Assist clients in navigating the CALAIM eligibility process and completing necessary applications
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct case management including crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case notes
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and outreach activities
  • Responsibilities may evolve and additional duties may be assigned as the needs of the department or organization change.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • RN or LVN Nurse Care Manager certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in case management or a related role
  • Proficiency with case management software and standard office applications
  • Knowledge of local resources and support systems in Orange County
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse populations

Preferred

  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Familiarity with CALAIM rules, processes, and services

 

Work Schedule

·       This is a hybrid position with in-person work Tuesday–Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. Please note that during the first 30 days of employment, the position will be 100% in person to facilitate training and onboarding.
