About the role

The Second Judicial District is accepting applications for a Court Operations Manager to oversee the Behavioral Health Unit. This position provides advanced supervisory and administrative leadership for court operations serving justice-involved individuals with behavioral health needs.

The Behavioral Health Unit is a newly established unit within Court Administration, bringing together Civil Commitment Court, Treatment Courts (Mental Health Court, DWI Court, Veteran’s Treatment Court, and Adult Substance Abuse Court), and Criminal Competency (Rule 20) Court. This position exercises considerable independent judgment, initiative, and discretion in developing work methods and operating procedures within established judicial system and district policies. The Court Operations Manager is permitted latitude in organizing staff, modifying procedures, determining priorities, and resolving operational issues.
