WE OFFER:
- Compensation: $90,000 Annually (Fixed Rate)
- Work Environment: Onsite/Hybrid(2-3 days per month) in Indianapolis, IN

- Work Schedule: Typically, 8 AM - 5 PM CST, On call as needed.
- Travel Requirement: Quarterly site visits required throughout the state, some overnight travel required.

Job Description
The Director of Nursing provides strategic leadership for all nursing services throughout Indiana operations. This role oversees clinical programs, regulatory compliance, quality assurance initiatives, and nursing staff development while ensuring exceptional healthcare outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Working closely with operational leaders, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare partners, you'll develop clinical best practices, strengthen nursing operations, monitor quality metrics, and build a culture centered on compassionate, person-focused care and continuous improvement.
What You Get To Do:
- Nursing Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the nursing team by providing coaching, mentorship, performance management, and ongoing education. Oversee hiring, orientation, competency training, and Med Core A & B instruction to build a high-performing clinical team.
- Clinical Operations & Quality: Direct nursing services across Indiana operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care through healthcare assessments, medication management, quality assurance programs, and individualized health risk planning for persons served.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain compliance with Indiana regulations, ICF standards, and organizational policies while overseeing clinical audits, incident reviews, corrective action plans, and enhanced monitoring for medically fragile individuals.
- Strategic Partnership & Clinical Support: Partner with operational leaders, physicians, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen clinical outcomes, improve nursing practices, support organizational initiatives, and provide on-call leadership for emergent clinical needs.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
