We're seeking a seasoned Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security team. In this role, you'll collaborate across multiple work streams to design and implement resilient, and frictionless security solutions at scale. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in endpoint security, strong scripting abilities, and expertise in implementing secure guardrails for SaaS applications. You'll serve as a technical subject matter expert, driving the resolution of complex security challenges and implementing scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include building repeatable security patterns to manage EDR/MDR tooling and implementing secure access controls.

 We need a self-starter who excels in ambiguous environments, makes data-driven decisions, and can effectively collaborate with internal engineering teams to promote secure-by-design principles across the organization.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Work across multiple work streams and teams across the organization to enhance and evangelize enterprise security that increase our security posture against emerging threats
  • Deliver solutions that are resistant to erosion of security controls over time and integrate ongoing testing strategies as part of the foundational design
  • Provide subject matter expertise to identify solutions for security gaps and challenges
  • Promote secure by design/default by building repeatable security patterns and/or leveraging frameworks
  • Provide a point of escalation and response for internal engineering teams
  • Own and drive resolutions to complex technical challenges
  • Independently and proactively identify areas of security risk and future needs, collaboratively design solutions to that risk, and successfully implement them in a scalable manner


THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Proven experience in a security engineering role, with a hands-on mastery of endpoint security concepts and technologies
  • Scripting/development skills (e.g., Python, C, C++, GoLang, Ruby, or PowerShell)
  • Capability to deploy, support, and operationalize endpoint security solutions at scale
  • Problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep technical understanding of security engineering principles
  • Prior experience securing cloud-based infrastructure and SaaS applications
  • Self-starter that is comfortable with ambiguity and makes data-driven decisions
  • Prior experience with auth-z and auth-n concepts, including the implementation of secure access controls and privileged access management solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise implementing and managing edr/mdr tooling in large environments
