Working in a clean room environment, the Cell Team Lead assures the smooth and stable operation of the Wafer Fab workflow and contributes to improvements in standards of quality, cost, and service within Wafer Operations.

- Reports directly to the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor
- Support the execution and completion of daily production build plans/targets
- Assists team members with process area, process line and/or tools setups
- Performs inspections of Work in Process (WIP) to ensure product meets all applicable quality specifications
- Provide feedback and reports (oral and written) to operations, engineering and quality on WIP status and equipment performance
We have an opening on the D shift. The D shift works every Wednesday, Thursday Friday and every other Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 5:40 a.m.
In this role, you will support continuous improvement activities within the defined processes through observations, interactions, and basic problem-solving activities with employees in the Gemba. Together, with your team members, you will ensure the quality of all products produced and ensure they meet defined quality standards. In addition, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the smooth and efficient running of workflows.
Define, assess, update and audit adherence to standardized work within the Workflows and Cell Operating Subsystems.
In conjunction with the Manufacturing Training Team, train other team members, and maintain cell cross-training matrix.
Facilitate cross-functional communication between Principal Assemblers, Planning, Technicians, Engineers, etc.
Observe the cell operating, recognizing normal from abnormal conditions. Conduct regular Workflow visual management reviews through standard Gemba leadership walks.
Identify, resolve and\or escalate, as appropriate, issues within the workflows, using A3 DMAIC process to identify root cause of issues.
Ensure required documentation and visual management information are completed timely and accurately, and in accordance with relevant approved COS standards.
Promote a positive team environment.
Must Have – Minimum Qualifications
Requires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through broad work experience and/or education.
Requires minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
Nice to Have - Preferred Qualifications
Exceptionally qualified candidates will have the following experiences and/or qualifications:
Proficient using Factory Works and MS Office programs on a computer
Previous Wafer Fab experience
Ability to read, understand and work with technical and non-technical documentation, including visual aids, detailed diagrams, schematics, and related quality documentation.
A demonstrated record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality, quantity, leadership and dependability (attendance and punctuality).
Ability to use various inspection and measurement instruments, such as microscopes.
Be well organized and possess good record-keeping skills.
