Team/Role Overview

The Performance Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for participating in a variety of performance calculations, analysis, and workflow activities in coordination with the Operational Services teams. The primary objective of this role is to accurately calculate, verify, and distribute performance data for funds and accounts. Strong analytical skills and investment processing knowledge are essential to support the broader performance and operational teams. Adherence to GIPS standards and principles is required.

Key responsibilities:

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Ensure performance tasks and workflows are executed in accordance with established deadlines to meet client deliverables.
Serve as a Maker by producing performance output in various formats, ensuring strict adherence to established procedures, verification checks, and sign-offs.
Act as a Checker by conducting a thorough secondary review of all steps performed by the maker, providing validation.
Process daily work in a timely and accurate manner.
Serve as an escalation point for questions and research, and assist the team manager with ad hoc tasks, client inquiries, and performance investigations.
Assist in developing training materials, training employees, and acting as an escalation point for training-related questions and research.
Ensure procedures and controls are followed, and the integrity of the data processing environment is maintained.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or an operational business-related area.
Performance/Investment certification (e.g., CFA, CIPM) is preferred.
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in a related area.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
