POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking multi-talented individuals to join our team as Retail Sales Associates at our bustling Giggle Gulch Candy Store location within Steamboat Ski & Sport. This is a high-volume, guest-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working independently. Associates will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cashiering, restocking, and providing exceptional guest service. Only one associate works per shift, so self-motivation and reliability are key.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide cheerful, kid-friendly guest service and guide guests through their candy and gift selections.

• Operate independently during your shift, managing all aspects of the store.

• Restock candy and merchandise throughout the day and ensure full replenishment at closing.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with theft prevention and product movement tracking.

• Check Email, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint regularly to stay informed on company updates, department news, and events.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including cleaning tasks, trash removal, and store organization.

• This position will be cross trained to work in other retail locations in the base area.

• Follow all safety and security protocols

• Seek product knowledge through packaging, online resources, and company-sponsored clinics.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of previous work history/education required

• Previous cash handling experience preferred

• Prior experience with RTP preferred

• Exceptional people and language skills; good communication skills needed
