Job Description
Lead the maintenance planning and organization of activities related to ensuring the continued and improvement of the facility in the West Memphis warehouse per Bosch standards and regulations. In addition, ensure policy and procedure requirements for the department as well as safety requirements are followed. Has headcount and budgetary responsibility for 8 to 10 direct associates and 1 to 2 exempt associates
Required Duties:
1) Supervise the facility's physical environment; coordinate and insure completion of all facility repair; adhere to budget requirements on spending and headcount; provide leadership and development of capital expenditure projects; and execution of approved projects (Capital and Non Capital) in a professional, timely manner and economical manner
2) Ensure TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) enhancements are implemented
3) Supervise maintenance technicians for all facility needs
4) Develop a collaborative partnership with the warehouse operations personnel to foster collaboration and standardization across the warehouse
5) Provide feedback to Management regarding maintenance needs
6) Staff Development including performance reviews and training development. Assure policies and procedures are followed and up to date. Set and monitor goals and objectives for associates
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Willing to consider 8 years of experience, in lieu of required education
- 3 to 7 years experience in facility and maintenance enhancements
Skills Required:
- Ability to supervise in high speed, high volume, highly automated distribution environment
- Ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously and complete on time
- Experience working and overseeing contractors
- Proficiency in oral, written and interpersonal communication skills that translate to associate abilities.
- Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word programs).
- AutoCAD skills a plus
