While we have employees across the country, we are looking to fill this particular role with someone based near our headquarters in Seattle who can commit to a hybrid schedule for more face-to-face interactions with team members.
The Job We are looking for an experienced Engineering leader to drive our software engineering efforts across multiple teams, in a rapidly growing technology-backed company. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will be instrumental in providing strategic direction and technical oversight, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your mission is to deliver high-impact, scalable software solutions that drive business value and enhance customer experience. Balancing immediate priorities with a long-term vision, you’ll ensure our technology strategy aligns with business goals and keeps us at the forefront of the industry.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-quality products.
• Technical Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. 
• Technology Strategy: Define and execute the technology roadmap, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge. 
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, ensuring robust and reliable software solutions. 
• Change Management Communication: Communicate the rationale behind changes, addressing concerns to ensure smooth transitions, particularly in fast-evolving industries like tech and solar energy.
