The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Global Process Lead Assets and Project Accounting will manage and oversee all aspects of fixed assets, lease, and project accounting ensuring accurate financial reporting, appropriate systems administration, processes standardization and optimization, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Process Ownership: Define and maintain the entire fixed asset life cycle process (acquisition, tracking including physical asset verification, maintenance, transfers, disposal including gain or losses, depreciation methods and useful lives by asset category), lease (classification and analysis, software management and administration, data management, and accurate lease schedules reporting), project management (creation, plan and support of project set up, cost element assignments and cost breakdown, workflows, establishment and tracking of data validation rules for accurate project financial information)
- Process Standardization: Develop and enforce standardized policies, procedures, and systems across regions and segments, in alignment with global best practices
- Leadership and Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional initiatives to ensure accounting requirements and financial impacts are identified
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and implement solutions
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure processes are compliant with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Governance and Metrics: Monitor performance of implemented processes, using metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess their effectiveness and adjust, as necessary
- Change Management: Act as a change champion to promote adoption of new processes and technologies, ensuring updates to job aides and providing training and support to end-users
Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher AND (ten) 10 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience in a private, public, government or military environment
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Technical background in fixed assets, project, and lease accounting
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, and/or CPA
- SAP and audit experience
- Experience with systems implementation
- Project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment
