Multimedia Services Production Assistant
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
The Multimedia Services Production Assistant contributes to Multimedia Services productions that will be disseminated via College of DuPage's multiple digital distribution channels. Responsibilities include providing support for a variety of productions including live webcast, post production editing, digitization, media transfer, quality assurance testing, and other productions as needed.

Execute as videographer and/or audio technician on live and in studio productions.

Post-production video editing in Adobe Premier Pro.

Experience in Abode CC a plus.

 

Partner with Multimedia staff to establish and maintain processes and best practices for delivering finalized content and organizing the production asset environment.

 

Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
  • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.

• Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
  • Previous customer service skills is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Broadcast television cameras, HD/SD field production cameras, microphones, audio mixers, miscellaneous video production hardware and accessories, non-linear editing systems, CD/DVD duplicators, video encoders, personal computer, fax/copy.

Software used:

Adobe Premier.

Adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Audition.

Adobe After Effects.

Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Outlook.

Internet Applications: YouTube.com, Photos.com, Vimeo.com.

This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check.

Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
