Role Summary Executes switch/router changes and VLAN management; performs cabling certification; assists with firewall/VPN/IDS tasks; uses enterprise tools to resolve incidents and support modernization deployments.Required Skills· Protocol proficiency: TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, Spanning Tree variants.· Hands-on configuration of switches/routers and WAPs; VLAN creation and management.· Cabling certification and drop testing; OTDR familiarity.· SolarWinds, Ansible, and ARMIS experience for monitoring and diagnostics.· Support of firewall/VPN/IDS implementations and change requests.Certifications (Required)· DoD 8140 – Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate level)· Security+· CCNA or equivalentExperienceBachelor’s and 3 years; OR technical training and 5 years of directly related experience. Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
