• Build high-quality, clean, secure, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Work with the product owners/Product managers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
• Implement secure software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Build your experience in java debugging, heap and stack analysis, log analysis and basic cloud and network agility to quickly resolve customer issues on live instances.
• Take ownership and effectively resolve customer escalations/issues by collaborating with support, development, and operations teams.
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation as required.
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, relational database, and performance/scale considerations
• Hands-on experience with developing software and API using common web technologies (SOAP, REST, XML, etc.)
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Unix/Linux shell scripts, or similar
• Working experience with cloud native technologies like microservices and containerization is plus
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and provide innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science or related discipline.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $136,800 - $239,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
