As a Team Leader for the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) Team, you will oversee the design, assembly, and installation of complex electrical wiring systems for our electric aircraft. This role involves managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring precision and quality in all wiring tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.
As a Team Leader for the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) Team, you will oversee the design, assembly, and installation of complex electrical wiring systems for our electric aircraft. This role involves managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring precision and quality in all wiring tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.

- Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to address technical challenges and optimize wiring workflows.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of all wiring systems.
- Train and mentor team members, enhancing their technical skills and ensuring consistent application of best practices.
- Monitor production schedules and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and the adoption of advanced wiring techniques or tools.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in all wiring activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical wiring systems or manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in aerospace or electric vehicle industries.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or advanced certifications (e.g., Certified IPC Trainer).
- Hands-on experience with automated wiring tools and advanced electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and integration in electric vehicles or aircraft.
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools, including MES and ERP systems.
- Expertise in sustainability practices and lifecycle analysis within electrical manufacturing.
- Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions in wiring system integration.
- Experience working on electric aircraft or advanced wiring techniques for lightweight structures.
- Established network within the aerospace wiring or electrical systems industry.
