Job Title: Business Analyst (Policy Decision)

Location: Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania (Hybrid)

Duration: Full-Time Position

Salary upon conversion: $90000 - $100000/Year

Skills: Business Analyst P&C (property and casualty insurance), Policy Admin, Duck-Creek, Guidewire, Prominent Insurance tools

Requirements

Preferably looking for 5+ years Business Analyst experience Candidate

Insurance background/experience

Experience with Policy Admin Systems / Underwriting and Compliance

Experience with Personal Auto and Commercial P&C (Underwriting and Compliance), and Contract/Commercial Bonds

The Role

• Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.

• Understanding the needs of client stakeholders & facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst them.

• Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.

• Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.

• Excellent documentation capabilities on requirement documents (backlog, stories, functional specification), wireframe/prototyping, systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.

• Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution and act as an interface between client and development team.

• Work in end to end implementation of enterprise project.

• Conduct internal quality reviews as well as UAT with the client.

• Create training materials and conduct training to client stakeholders.

• Provide status reports and application DEMO to clients and 'C Level' executives.

• Experience in Insurance domain of P&C. 

Good to have:

• Experience in Rapidsure. 

• Strong Experience in Claims management, Policy center, Billing & underwriting is expected. 

• Ability to create Business requirement document, functional requirement specification and related documents.

• Document business rules by creating detailed Use Case diagrams, Business Flow diagram, Create process models, data flow diagrams, activity diagrams, wireframes using MS Visio.

• Understanding of Waterfall and AGILE development methodologies.

• Candidate should have knowledge of "Policy Decision" and AQS.
