The AT&T Federal team within Public Sector offers all AT&T telecommunications, wireline, wireless, and professional services to the various departments and agencies of the federal government. AT&T Federal operates across the US and supports global requirements for federal customers.
AT&T has an opening for an Enterprise Solution Architect: To support complex government professional services opportunities. Gov Pro solution architects will assume solution design leadership roles supporting the capture/proposal process for classified and unclassified opportunities. Gov Pro solution architects will cover gaps on existing Gov Pro contracts when workloads permit.
Successful personnel will be aligned to the National Security segment of AT&T Federal and sit within a technical matrix organization; the Gov Pro solution architects will support opportunities across AT&T Federal.
This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
AT&T Federal Gov Pro solutions architects will be responsible for supporting complex capture and proposal initiatives centered on government professional services solutions which may be procured through either FAR Part 15, FAR Part 12, or other contracting means.
Responsibilities and activities include:
- Work closely with business development and capture personnel to identify federal government professional services opportunities aligned with AT&T’s competencies and priorities including win themes, competitive analyses, customer insights, maximized teaming strategies, etc.
- Lead the development of technical white papers showcasing how AT&T’s capabilities/innovations match the needs of federal entities based on existing/future requests for proposals (RFP) or other market request materials.
- Design robust, comprehensive, and compliant technical solution responses to Gov Pro RFPs ensuring traceability of all requirements, analyzing design trade-offs to maximize probability of win (PWIN), and working closely with the capture team to assess implementation feasibility, budget affordability, long-term sustainability and success of solution, etc.
- Translate the design into required written/proposal language as either the technical/management volume lead or the primary contributor to the technical/management volume.
- Decipher the technical solution into Basis of Estimate (BOE) details, work closely with the Gov Pro pricing team to align to labor categories, and support the development of associated cost volumes.
- Lead and/or contribute to proposal color reviews offering deep technical insights and recommending improvements for a strong proposal response.
- Assess future federal gov pro requirements and propose specific solutions to fill any AT&T gaps which might reduce PWIN.
- Support/work existing gov pro contracts as required and due to availability given leadership priorities.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 15 years of broad government professional services industry experience including on-contract service delivery, large scale system design and engineering, management of complex large program elements supporting federal customer missions, and technical leadership experience supporting multifaceted winning proposal responses to government requests. The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of team collaboration, technical analysis of alternatives, skilled written and verbal communications.
