Position overview
Johnson & Johnson MedTech, a leading name in medical technology, is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary leader to join its Global Supply Chain Planning & Strategy Organization. This key leadership position, i.e. Director, Global Surgery Inventory & Capability will be responsible for driving Inventory Transformation to enable cashflow efficiency for our $9Bn+ Global Surgery Business, as well as maturing critical Business Processes and Planning Capabilities to enable Surgery Supply Chain as a competitive advantage to the business.
This role reports directly to VP, Global Supply Chain Planning & Strategy.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Shape and manage the transformation ~2Bn Inventory for MedTech Surgery towards benchmark efficiency with sustainable service to fuel the growth innovation needs to better serve our customers and patients.
Lead diagnostics of key inventory drivers
Identify levers and develop strategic initiatives to deliver both Business Plan and a pipeline towards LRFP aspirations.
Drive the execution of Inventory Transformation and be accountable as the to deliver the BU inventory target for both current year business plan and LRFP aspirations.
Establish E2E governance, partner closely with platforms and x-functional teams to drive flawless execution of Inventory optimization initiatives.
Drive E2E accountability and ensure the delivery of Surgery Inventory cashflow target for each business cycle and LRFP.
Shape and lead Surgery Inventory Cashflow knowledge and capability building, by partnering with Finance, E2E Platforms and MedTech/Enterprise Plan Capability Teams.
Partner with Finance and Cashflow Office to build Cashflow and Inventory knowledge (both Gross and Reserve) across E2E organization. Drive change management and governance to elevate awareness and accountability across platforms, functions and regions.
Deploy the right tools across Surgery platforms to ensure timely visibility of Inventory at all locations, elevate ability to predict, project and mitigate elements impacting inventory as well as establish process/parameter governance. This also includes utilizing advanced analytics and financial modeling to forecast, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
