Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various commercial kitchen equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment including walk-ins, steamers, convection ovens, dishwashers, and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
• Install and commission new kitchen equipment and systems
• Maintain and repair low voltage systems and control mechanisms
• Manage parts inventory and order necessary components for repairs
• Prioritize service calls and maintain efficient response times
• Document all maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers
• Perform emergency repairs as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• HVAC technical school certification preferred
• EPA certification required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen appliances and refrigeration systems
• Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy equipment throughout shift
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Available for emergency response and flexible scheduling
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
