Accounting Senior Analyst/Specialist Houston, TX  

 

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE 

 

 

Accounting Analyst/Specialist

 

Purpose: 

  • Implements and controls credit and collection policies and procedures. Defines and controls compliance with policies for credit granting control.
  • Supervises cash inflow and ensures commercial and political risk coverage. Minimizes overexposure risks by analyzing future exposure
    for all Tenaris clients
  • Ensures that accounting records duly reflect corporate operations.
  • Analyzes and ensures treasury operations perform according to standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensures customers economic and financial support performing financial and credit analyses, proposing credit lines to be granted, assessing commercial and political risks, validating and coordinating information as required on global credit lines. 
  • Learns about risks, insurance coverages, interacts with insurance brokers.
  • Supports credits to be granted by managing and administering credit insurances.
  • Provides information on cash inflow by making collection projections.
  • Makes the collection estimate program analyzing customers current accounts and payment terms. 
  • Complies with defined exposure limits monitoring through management indicators credit excesses and collection delays.
  • Reduces risk exposure conditions proposing alternative coverage for commercial and political risks.
  • Supports credits to be granted by managing and administering credit insurances.
  • Issues and obtains back Bid, Performance & Advance Payment Bonds for all Tenaris legal entities on a global basis.
  • Keeps insurance policies and credit lines updated providing information on insurance credit availability and on monthly/quarterly invoicing.
  • Informs Business Units performance preparing reports as required.
  • Observes core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities.
  • Analyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes. Gains deep knowledge of the processes he/she is exposed to.
  • Develops specific projects within the Accounting department.
  • Consolidates Tenaris Flash Main Overdue from all Business Units.
