The Senior Manufacturing Program Specialist acts as the primary POC for all material release and coordination for the MAPS and UAS product teams in Coralville. This is a fast growing team with multiple new products coming online. Candidate will have daily communication with build team and leadership as well as our New Product Introduction team.

This role will be performed ONSITE at our Collins Aerospace location in Coralville, IA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Material release and coordination of work in process through SAP
  • POC for all material issues within MAPS Product team
  • Reviews upcoming material shortages and alerts procurement teams
  • Material Scrapping
  • Rework order creation and maintenance
  • Lead time and lot size review and maintenance
  • SAP processing of orders from Project stock into unrestricted.
  • Schedule reporting and communication of current status
  • Nameplate ordering and tracking
  • Interface with NPI (New Product Introduction) team to provide support for material release and tracking of non-standard orders
  • Controlled device coordinator responsible for tracking of accountable devices.
  • POC with GPS Directorate

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Experience with production scheduling
  • Manufacturing experience
