Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience with designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with TFS/Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 3+ years of experience implementing Cloud Data storage technologies.
• 3+ years of experience implementing solutions in a DataLake/Databricks environment.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Core and C#, PowerShell
• 1+ years of hands-on experience implementing solutions in Kafka.
• 1+ years of experience with data partitioning, compaction, and open-source file formats like Parquet, AVRO, and Delta
• Experience with Python, Bash, XML/JSON, XSLT, YAML
• Experience with Scrum/Agile/Kanban

Preferred Qualifications

 

• 7 + years of software engineering experience
• 7 + years of experience with designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• 5 + years’ experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks.
• 5 + years of hands-on experience with Kafka and Azure cloud computing technologies, designing, and developing REST APIs and Windows services.
• 5 + years of experience with TFS/Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 5 + years’ experience with Data storage technologies (such as Azure Cosmos DB, Mongo DB, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Queues)
• 5 + years of experience working in a DataLake/Databricks environment handling structured and unstructured data, leveraging data streaming, and developing data pipelines driven by events/queues.
• 4 + years of experience with Microsoft .NET Core and C#, PowerShell
• 4 + years of experience with data partitioning, compaction, and open-source file formats like Parquet, AVRO, and Delta
• 2+ years of experience with Python, Bash, XML/JSON, XSLT, YAML
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB, Mongo DB, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure Queues
