About the role

cFocus Software seeks an ITSM Senior Functional Specialist/Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is onsite in Suffolk, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Engineering discipline
10+ years of experience managing progressively more complex and/or multiple technical programs/projects with responsibility for management and control of cost, schedule, performance, and personnel, communicating and interfacing with customers
5+ years serving as senior expert with extensive knowledge in DOD, Navy, and Joint IT systems.
Active ITIL v3 Foundations and one ITILv3 intermediate certification, specifically Service Operations or Continual Service Improvement required, or ITIL v4 Foundations and ITILv4 Strategist Direct, Plan and Improve or ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support
Active Cloud certification

Duties:

Identify opportunities for improvement or innovation and resolves complex problems, which require an in‐depth knowledge of DOD and Navy IT systems.
Apply principles and methods of ITSM to solutions.
Define project scopes, setting timelines and milestones, coordinating resources and ensuring successful project delivery.
Provide insight and advice concerning task or project strategic direction and outcomes.
Contribute to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions.
Resolves complex problems, which require an in‐depth knowledge of DOD and Navy IT systems.
Apply principles and methods of ITSM to solutions. Possesses demonstrated ability and experience in management consulting and cross‐team facilitation at technical and management levels.
Directs the activities of program teams or other staff as necessary.
