Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) - GTMO

GCyber is hiring a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Office of the Military Commissions (OMC) playing a critical role in security data, interpreting, and applying cyber security standards, directives, guidance, and policies to classified computing environments and ensuring the ongoing compliance of OMC systems.

**This position is located on base at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB)

As the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), you will: 

• Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support for OMC systems, ensuring all OMC information systems meet required DoD security controls.
• Support information system assessment and authorization (A&A) activities and re-accreditations in accordance with DOD 8510.01 and ICD503.
• Maintain up to date RMF and system accreditation documentation in the eMASS system.
• Coordinate and facilitate the completion and submission of waivers, exception to policy requests, and system change requests.
• Host Based Security System (HBSS) client management.
• Implement and maintain anti-virus and malicious code protection for all OMC information systems using government-provided software.
• Support HBSS client management (configuration, policy management, reporting) 
• Provide security vulnerability scanning and facilitate remediation activities using government provided vulnerability applications (e.g., ACAS, MDE)
• Support scheduled OMC Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI), and security assessment visits (SAV).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT III certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
• BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 8+ years of information technology experience 
• Prior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), or related experience in a DoD environment
