Job Summary:
The Eissa lab is seeking to hire an entry-level Research Services Information Sciences Professional to assist with computational modeling of human decision-making strategies at the University of Colorado Anschutz. This position will use computational behavioral and neural network models to analyze experimental behavioral data from humans. It will also work closely with the existing research team to design and execute all aspects of the work. Entry Information Science Professionals utilize applied or computational mathematical analyses and computer science for a wide array of different applications and to solve complex problems. Experiments may include coding, data science approaches to analyzing human behavior, online task development and software engineering, Bayesian modeling and approaches to data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Preprocessing and data scientific approaches to analyzing human behavioral data
Computational model development and comparisons to data
Code maintenance and documentation
Collaborate with and support Principal Investigators (PI) and other team members
Develop and implement online behavioral tasks
Creatively and effectively integrate data from multiple sources to accelerate discoveries
Assist with the design and development of programming projects
Write custom scripts to access and analyze data
Work Location:
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO.
