Job Title: Director of Operations

Location: Peoria, IL Area (Relocation Provided)

Role Overview: Lead and ensure the success of the site in growth and execution, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees and the surrounding community. Deliver on key operational metrics, including safety, environmental, quality, production, spending, and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports and site employees.
• Develop and execute production strategies.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the Union.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, ensuring regulatory compliance and budget control.
• Ensure production capacity meets customer needs and future requirements.
• Manage community relations proactively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 3-4 years of experience as a Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Production Manager.
• Experience with Hazardous Material and PSM.
• Union experience highly preferred.
