ARSIEM is looking for a highly skilled Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide cybersecurity expertise to ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, validate Information Assurance (IA) controls, and support Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts for Navy-managed networks. This is a remote position with limited travel required for security validation and compliance-related engagements.. This position will support one of our Government clients in Monterey, CA.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or relevant military training/qualifications.
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II - CAP, CISM, CASP, GLSC
- In-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53, DoD 8570.01-M, and eMASS.
- Strong experience in POA&M development, security risk analysis, and compliance validation.
- Ability to analyze cybersecurity artifacts, policies, and network security documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to brief leadership and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Navy IT networks (MEDU, DREN, SDREN, CSOC, SIPRNET).
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment Tools (e.g., ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, SIEMs).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and IAM security frameworks.
