Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$26.50 - $31.00

Job Summary

Purple is looking for a talented HR Generalist to serve as the point of contact for the day-to-day administration of company benefits, employee relations, and recruiting. This individual will train Monday-Friday 8am-5pm for the first two-three weeks and then transition to the Monday-Friday 1pm-10pm shift.

Job Description

  • Assist with benefits administration for all company plans including enrollment, communications, benefit reconciliation, employee inquiries, plan documents, benefit renewals, and open enrollment.  

  • Regular communication with 3rd party vendors including staffing agencies, food service vending, etc.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.  

  • Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations including ACA, policy and procedure, wage and hour laws, benefit compliance etc.  

  • Process employee change requests, position changes, and other related employee changes.   

  • Administer FMLA forms as requested by employees

  • Maintain and analyze HR data, provide in-depth insights/reports 

  • Assist with onboarding tasks to include I-9 verification and E-Verify in a timely manner 

  • Assist in recruiting, both high-volume and office staff.  

  • Provide support to employees regarding troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems with HRIS 

  • Administer employee programs   

  • Answer questions from employees regarding employee-related topics including, policy and procedure.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • 2 plus years of related experience in a progressive HR role is required.   

  • Recruiting and HRIS experience is highly preferred.  

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word 

  • Detail and process-oriented  

  • People-oriented with a desire to be successful 

  • Team oriented  

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 plus years of experience preferred.  

  • Self-motivated  

  • Ability to adapt in a fast pace environment 

  • Multi-lingual preferred but not required (English, Spanish, French, etc.)
