About the Role
The Senior Analyst will be a contributor within BetMGM’s finance function, supporting a variety of reporting, modeling, and analytical initiatives. The Senior Analyst will be a partner to the finance team as well as collaborate cross-functionally, with emphasis on supporting operations, technology, and people planning. A successful candidate will facilitate management decision making and identify opportunities of improvement by leveraging data to provide actionable insights and analysis. Candidates are expected to exhibit a keen attention to detail, strong financial & numerical insight, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze monthly financial performance including cost of revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and key operational drivers; deliver clear insights, variance explanations, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Support the forecasting and budgeting cycles by building and maintaining financial models that incorporate historical trends, business drivers, and cross functional input to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Develop, refine, and track KPIs and operational metrics, partnering closely with Operations, Technology, and People teams to monitor business health and identify areas of opportunity.
Prepare recurring management reporting, including dashboards and presentations, that translate complex financial data into digestible, actionable insights for senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross functional partners to understand business operations, gather inputs, pressure test assumptions, and provide financial guidance that influences decision making.
Assist with executive level materials, including board/leadership content and business performance narratives.
