Job Description

IDIQ is seeking a Product Analyst that will play an instrumental role in supporting the product and marketing teams. The Analyst is critical to the success of the product team in setting goals and objectives for new website features and product launches, determining primary and secondary KPIs for success, measuring impact against baselines, and providing insights and recommendations for next steps. While primarily supporting the product team, the Analyst will also play a role in developing and maintaining reports and/or dashboards to provide both marketing and product teams with access to the necessary data to manage their day-to-day business. To succeed, you’ll bring expertise in the ability to take data from multiple sources and turn it into easily-digestible reports/dashboard. We are looking for someone who is ambitious and has a passion for turning numbers into actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define measurable objectives, goals, and KPIs for product launches, marketing campaigns, and other relevant initiatives
  • Aggregate and analyze data from various sources and present insights and recommendation to internal stakeholders
  • Research industry and market trends, and consistently monitor the competitive landscape
  • Work closely with product team to evaluate the rollout of new site features and determine overall impact to the business, as well as the customer experience
  • Measure results of A/B tests and provide recommendations for iterations and future tests
  • Assist marketing team members in evaluating and analyzing campaign performance to optimize marketing spend
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for product and marketing end-users Complete recurring and ad-hoc reporting with accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferrable in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing or Economics
  • 4-6 years of experience analyzing large data sets, preferably within the web analytics / digital marketing space
  • Proven ability to derive insights and clearly communicate results, trends, and recommendations for improvements
  • Clear understanding of end-to-end web analytics implementation, including pieces such as dataLayer requirements building, tag implementation, and testing/QA
  • Advanced working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, Heap, etc.)
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, DOMO, etc.
  • Working knowledge of tag management tools a plus (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten)
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Jira
  • Experience in the ideation, creation, and analysis of A/B and multivariant tests
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, highly collaborative, competitive, and results-oriented

Preferred Knowledge and Skill:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and/or other scripting languages
  • Previous experience with product analytics and market research a plus
  • Agency experience a plus
