Position Summary:

Reporting into the Executive Director of Strategy and Operations, this role dotted lines into and serves as the chief of staff for VP, Dermatology & Rheumatology Marketing. Responsibilities to the brand include driving cross-functional collaboration, leading critical workstreams inclusive of implementing the new commercial model, managing the brand planning cycle and OPEX, and enabling an innovative, patient-first team culture.

As a director on the CV and IMM S&O team, this individual will also help to shape the future of commercial S&O capabilities by helping to define skills sets, ways of working, and opportunities for business efficiencies across BMS commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the monthly and quarterly business reviews with Business Unit head and CLT.

  • Drive the brand management cycle: Gain alignment with Brand and Sales leadership on POA cycle timing, plan USBP updates, and lead CIP and Financial planning.

  • Support VP SOTYTKU marketing on SLE and SjD indication launch preparations

  • Effectively organize and execute key brand leadership, marketing, and cross-functional team meetings prioritizing critical content, elevating key pain points and opportunities

  • Serve as central point of contact for new commercial model activities impacting SOTYKTU and ORENCIA, driving efficient innovation, overseeing next phase of Sophia for Derm, implementing Sophia for Rheum, and enhancing engagement with existing capabilities

  • Lead OPEX planning and management for entire Derm and Rheum team from leadership scenario planning to monthly and projection cycle budget tracking, partnering with extensive matrix to instill excellent financial stewardship for our brands.

  • Connect and nurture extensive 3M organization including field and home office teams

  • Support the establishment of commercial S&O capabilities to drive efficiencies for BMS

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA, BS, or equivalent required. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 6-8 years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical or other relevant industry.

  • In-depth marketing experience in US or other key markets with a track record of success

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess complex situations and formulate effective plans, anticipate obstacles, and develop mitigations

  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance by leading large cross-functional matrix teams through informal authority and collaborative partnerships

  • Clear understanding of the BMS organization, policies, and processes

  • Strong project management skills

  • Launch experience and Dermatology or Rheumatology experience preferred but not required
