Disney Experiences is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is process & detail oriented to contribute to our application lifecycle management for our application portfolio.

What You Will Do

The Senior Product Manager will manage our portfolio's full development life cycle, focusing on dev-sec-ops (incident, service, problem, change, and configuration management of applications and services). Work closely with the engineering team (e.g. software engineers, data engineers, user experience engineers/designers) to understand the product vision, gather requirements, and prioritize features based on customer needs and market trends. This role also acts as primary point of contact, is responsible for maintaining relationships with business partners, application and sustainment teams to ensure feature delivery meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of dev-ops products – from requirements definition through development to adoption.

  • Serve as the go-to person for the progression of code across environments, provisioning of infrastructure and manage the release roadmap and strategy

  • Lead the certification and sign offs required for code /version progression across environments

  • Prioritize and lead the product backlog for technical debt, security concerns and balance with feature delivery, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering value to the customers.

  • Lead activities of dev-ops scrum teams – build & manage the backlog, prioritize, risk management, facilitate technical discussion, coordinate quality & technical demos

  • Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of product features.

  • Monitor progress and provide updates to management and stakeholders on product development stages.

  • Manage application lifecycle configurations, change records in service management tools such as ServiceNow

  • Be the point of contact to acknowledge and lead the resolution of application related concerns raised in all lower environments and production

  • Assist/ lead with problem/incident management, follow up with resolution management, timely communication of status and updates

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5 + years of dev ops and service delivery management specialist experience

  • 5 + plus years of experience as a Product Manager within technology-powered platform teams

  • Proficiency in ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Agile project management tools like myJira

  • Familiarity with Cloud and DevOps platforms and technologies. knowledge of Git (GitHub/GitLab), pipelines (Jenkins/Harness), developer tools, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP).

  • Working knowledge of techniques in product discovery and delivery, ensuring efficient and effective software delivery lifecycle processes

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with executive level including the ability to engage in high-level business discussions and technical conversations.

  • Experience speaking in the domain language of technical engineers and interpreting non-technical/ finance/ security parlance

  • Experience of handling and addressing technical debt

  • Experience working with and in a scrum team

  • Experience creating technical user stories with the right level of detail

  • Experience in application change and release planning / coordination of tasks across teams

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
