Lead Software Engineer- Customer Intelligence team, Spain Remote

Our Team

The Customer Intelligence team in the Personalization domain plays a critical role in supporting personalized customer experience on the website and various other marketing channels. We:

• Develop mechanisms to capture and analyze real-time customer data to derive actionable insights. 

• Implement customer segmentation to identify and target specific customer groups.

• Maintain integrations to expose consistent customer data across all product teams.

 

What You Will Do

• Design the architecture and build the services and tools that help to deliver personalized customer experience.

• Design and develop our services end to end. Each team owns the whole solution, starting with the first line of code and ending with running it in production.

• Show your solution’s resilience based on metrics.

• Drive design discussions with your team and teams we collaborate with.

• Help colleagues in the team grow by mentoring, pair programming and applying your skills and experience in collaboration.

• Work together with engineering managers and product managers from surrounding teams on well-rounded solutions.

• Work with tech stack like, but not limited to, AWS, TypeScript, C#, GitLab…

 

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a software development role, with a strong focus on designing, building and deploying high-performance, scalable APIs for production systems.

• Experience with CI/CD and awareness of DevOps standard methodologies.

• Experience working with Cloud services (preferably AWS) and building Infrastructure as Code.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

 

Nice to Have

• Technical Engineering: Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and message queues, with deep expertise in Python and modern Agile development.

• Infrastructure & Deployment: Hands-on experience managing Serverless and Container-based deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) within scalable, cloud-native environments.

• Collaborative & Growth-Oriented: A customer-focused partner who thrives in cross-cultural teams and pair programming environments; you actively seek feedback from peers, bring a technical understanding of creative production tooling, and are driven by a continuous desire to learn and grow.
