JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for someone who can balance execution with proactiveness and drive, thrives in building relationships, and helps bring creative ideas and stories to life. This role will report to the Global Comms & PR Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the driver of our press activities in the Netherlands, Germany, and APAC across company news, client project announcements, media relations, speaking engagements, and other opportunities.
- Support the Global PR & Comms Director in all press activities for the US, UK, and all global external moments.
- Contribute to our public relations and thought leadership program by writing press releases, opinion pieces, and commentary.
- Be the owner of our narrative for key global agency award submissions, piecing together accomplishments, innovation and business news into a compelling story.
- Lead the content planning, creation, and execution of bi-monthly thought leadership on LBB and The Drum.
- Identify press opportunities through research, including trends, publications, timely themes, and insights into the key press across the UK, US, DE, and APAC.
- Build relationships with the target press and collaborate with colleagues across the agency to develop engaging stories about our work and people.
- As a PR manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Comms team's day-to-day tools, including media lists, Q&AS, briefing documents, editorial calendars, budgets, and reports.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in communications and PR, as well as strong relationships with journalists covering brands and agencies across Europe and the US
- Excellent writing skills and an ability to turn ideas into stories that resonate with brands
- Experience in writing award submissions for both creative and agency programs
- Are a creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in the English language
- Are a structured and organized multitasker, who can manage short deadlines with a ‘can-do’ approach
- Willing to travel
- Preferably have experience in an agency or technology company setting, and the ability to work in a global (team) environment.
