Your Role
As a Summer PR + Communications Intern in Gensler's New York office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This position is not remote.
What You Will Do
Assist with press opportunities and help the development of press materials (briefing documents, pitches, internal e-mail blasts, etc.)
Review publications for editorial opportunities and contributed content ideas
Assist in maintaining company Intranet, media lists, editorial calendars, PR editorial tracking charts, and clippings
Help coordinate efforts to promote Gensler and the New York office through appropriate awards programs, collaborating with the rest of the PR and Marketing team
Support Gensler New York’s Instagram strategy and help create published content (images, video, and copy)
Your Qualifications
You have completed your second year and are working towards a Bachelor’s degree in the Communications or Marketing fields. This is not an entry-level position for recent graduates.
Strong command of grammar and great written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe InDesign required
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
Your Additional Characteristics
Able to balance multiple projects with high attention to detail and respect for client confidentiality
Comfortable in a professional, fast-paced, collaborative office environment
