Pay/Shift Hours

Hourly pay - $30.00 per hour
Shift schedule - 1st shift from 7am to 3:30 with OT as needed.  
 

 

Job Purpose

The Shipping Team Leader monitors the controls systems of the automated equipment, uses software to verify that the controls are within certain parameters
When controls exceed or fall below speifications.  The Team Lead must quickly troubleshoot the problem to avoid or minimize interruptions in Production.

Key Responsibilities

•    Automation – Support solutions and improvements to the facility with implementation of key manufacturing process technologies including but not limited to robotics, vision systems.
•    Problem Solving – This individual will be responsible for supporting new projects as well as troubleshooting and addressing issues with current systems in use in production
•    Safety / Quality – Responsible for identifying and improving safety at the site through use of technology and participating in hazard identification and elimination. Responsible for helping to deliver world class quality by implementing poke-yoke and error proofing solutions to the factory via both hardware and software
•    Project Management – The individual will be responsible for planning and executing multiple projects at the same time and utilize good project management skills by managing risk, understanding critical path and dependencies to meet project goals on time
•    Maintenance – This role will be a part of a team that supports overall maintenance for the facility.
•    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Able to work independently and structurally, as a team player and under pressure
•    Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated, customer oriented, multi-tasking, having stress management capability
•    Successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks
•    Knowledge of MS Office applications
•    Good verbal and written communications skills in English
•    Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
•    Takes ownership of production assets and ensures they are operated safely and as per established procedures, guidelines and industry good practice
•    Performs daily production-, preventative maintenance-, process data collection and administration tasks as per procedures and control systems.
•    Reports safety, quality or other issues related to products or production processes to Team Leader / Shift Supervisor.
•    Ensures all (shift team) production targets are met whilst ensuring the appropriate quality standards are maintained.
•    Issues CAR, respectively Hazard report when any relevant issue is noticed, regardless location or responsible department.
•    Provides progress updates to the Team Leader / Shift Supervisor.
•    Attends and contributes to meetings.
•    Contributes to the investigation of HSE or quality issues for i.e.: customer complaints, reject batches or other quality related issues.
•    Participates in Continuous Improvement activities & programs for HSE, Quality, ALPS or other as may be assigned from time to time. Contributes to color adjustment activities, where applicable, in line with agreed procedures and control systems.
•    Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.
