💰 $80,860/yr($33,660/yr – $80,860/yr)
About the role
Amazon Studios is seeking bright, multitasking, dynamic and self-motivated interns to work hard, have fun and make history with us this summer. Amazon Studios Internship Program gives interns hands-on experience working with the studio behind productions such as Rings of Power, The Boys, LulaRich, and the Savage x Fenty Fashion Show.
In addition to working closely with executives, interns have the opportunity to participate in guest speaker sessions, networking events and screenings.
Our summer internship class will take place from June through August 2023. Internships are paid opportunities. Credit is not required, however we will provide documentation if necessary. An Amazon Studios team member will contact you should your experiences and interests match an open internship position.
We are looking for a motivated and eager production intern to support the global Production Operations team, and our various departments there within. This person will help drive efficiencies and scalability through a flagship project that will focus on the creation of a visual guide/FAQ document package that covers best practices and common talking points for our 3rd party production partners. This project should take about 7 to 8 weeks to complete, culminating in a presentation to our senior leader, Head of Production Operations.
Key job responsibilities
This position will be heavily focused on operational organization and administrative process. Additional areas of focus and exposure will include: project start-up, on-boarding into Amazon Studio’s systems, best practices, project oversight, and other protocol/workflows which are key to producing content for Amazon Studios.
A day in the life
Those who may benefit most are self-starters who seek out opportunities to learn, and are proactive in identifying and taking on projects.
Day-to-day tasks will include; supporting the Production Operations team with scheduling, data collection and entry, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Joining various meetings with the opportunity to gain insight into the Studio's production process.
Other points of focus will be: process flows planning/documentation from pre-production, production and into post-production, and gaining insight and exposure to day-to-day problem solving and collaboration within the Production Operations team.

This is an entry level position, for which candidates are not expected to have extensive experience. Interest and eagerness to learn about production are the basic qualifiers.
