Micron is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead a team of data scientists delivering AI and GenAI solutions for enterprise. This is an outstanding chance to be at the forefront of AI innovation, driving transformative solutions that impact various business functions. As the Senior Data Science Manager, you will help define the data science support strategy, manage resources, and ensure timely execution of AI projects that optimize enterprise processes for business functions such as Business Units, Sales, Finance, and HR. You will report to the Smart Manufacturing and AI Data Science Director of Business Functions.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement data science strategy for enterprise functions (Business Units, Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal). Align team objectives with corporate priorities and manage prioritization of resources.

• Technical Delivery: Lead all aspects of development of predictive models, optimization algorithms, GenAI implementation, and workflows and agents powered by artificial intelligence. Ensure quality, scalability, and compliance of data solutions across business functions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to incorporate AI, GenAI, and advanced analytics into key business operations. Share insights and suggestions with senior leadership.

• People Development: Mentor and grow a high-performing team; manage career development and succession planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related area.

• Over 8 years of experience in data science and/or advanced analytics, including more than 3 years in leadership positions.

• Expertise in GenAI, AI, machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data platforms (e.g., GCP, Snowflake).

• Strong business insight and ability to translate analytics into actionable strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD degree or equivalent experience in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field.

• Experience implementing AI, GenAI, and advanced analytics within Business Units, Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal areas.

• Semiconductor proven experience.
