Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 2nd shift Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
Quality Technician II - Aspers, PA
The QC Technician II plays a critical role in ensuring all products manufactured at our facility meet established quality and safety standards. This position performs advanced laboratory testing, sensory evaluations, and quality inspections to support production, compliance, and continuous improvement. The QC Technician II also maintains accurate records, supports audit readiness, and provides technical expertise in both analytical and microbiological testing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents and solutions, calibrate and standardize instruments, and conduct analytical testing (e.g., pH, acidity, density, Brix, particle size, absorbance/transmittance, assays)
- Perform laboratory testing procedures on raw ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet established company specifications
- Conduct QA audits throughout the production plant and have basic knowledge of production lines
Record results of audits and inspections on reports and computer programs - Calibrate and operate (following training):
- Refractometer
- PH meter
- Auto Titrator
- Density meter
- Spectrophotometer
- Understand CIP / product run rule processes
- Understand protocols for vendor holds and finished product holds
- Cleaning labs and testing equipment
- Knowledge of packaging materials including caps, labels, PET bottles, glass, etc.
- Gather, record, and store finished product retained samples
- Submit samples for in-house microbiological testing
- Eagerly approach all new functions with a team-oriented attitude
- Assist with support on QA projects
- Other duties as assigned by the manager, supervisor, and leads
Total Rewards:
- Pay starting at $28.87 per hour plus a shift differential.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required
- BS or AA degree in any science or technical field preferred
- 1-3 years of related QA experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong math and computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of standing/walking for long periods of time throughout the facility
Capable of climbing stairs
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Capable of operating a computer and testing equipment
Gather, lift, and transport items to the labs
