Assistant Director, Grateful Patient & Donor Relations - Institutional Advancement

The Assistant Director, Grateful Patient & Donor Relations is responsible for supporting the implementation of a comprehensive Grateful Patient and Family Program. The Assistant Director will coordinate patient giving initiatives and fundraising activities for Nemours and develop and deliver services for the Grateful Patient and Family Philanthropy Program.
Essential Functions:
- Connect with prospects and donors who have been identified by Advancement Services primarily via phone calls, written correspondence, or in-person meetings – with a goal of 250 – 400 documented actions in Raiser’s Edge per month.
- Advance prospects with greater gift capacity ($10,000+) to annual giving or major gift officer portfolios by providing a personal hand-off.
- Conduct Infinite Advocate pinning ceremonies at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville and implement tracking system in CRM for pending and completed pinning ceremonies.
- Provide monthly Infinite Advocate recognition updates to clinical leaders across all regions.
- Manage logistics for clinical trainings, including Clinician Champion Trainings, Patient-Centered Care Advisory Council sessions, and Nurses Training.
- Oversee third-party (community) events for Grateful Patient families.
- Identify and coordinate with patient families for filming needs within the Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville footprint.
- Lead efforts for Nurses Week, National APP Week, and similar events.
- Coordinate check presentations, as needed.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree required.
Minimum one year of fundraising experience is required; three plus years is preferred.
