Job Description:

Senior Manager – Y-Hire® Finance & Accounting (CAS)

Crowe is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Y-Hire® Finance and Accounting team within our Studio group. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality Client Accounting Services (CAS), overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, and elevating the team’s technical accounting capabilities.

You will serve as both an operational leader and technical advisor—ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting while strengthening accounting practices, developing talent, and driving client value. This role blends hands-on execution, people leadership, and strategic client engagement.

This is a hybrid position with 2–3 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day accounting operations across multiple clients, including close, AP/AR, and financial reporting
  • Serve as a technical accounting resource, advising on complex GAAP matters and improving team capabilities
  • Review financials, reconciliations, and G/L activity to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Standardize and enhance accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
  • Deliver and present monthly management reporting and financial insights to clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on financial performance and scalable accounting practices
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; ensure work is completed accurately and on time
  • Manage multiple engagements, including staffing, timelines, and quality of delivery
  • Partner with tax and advisory teams to support client needs
  • Drive client growth and retention, including identifying expansion opportunities and supporting sales efforts
  • Ensure compliance with Crowe’s risk and independence standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in CAS, outsourced accounting, or public accounting
  • CPA required (or equivalent credential)
  • Strong technical accounting expertise in both U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Demonstrated accounting advisory expertise with the ability to lead client engagements from scoping through delivery
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with leadership and advisory responsibilities
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience with systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics, and related tools
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel up to 30% as needed

We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. These values define who we are. We expect all of our people to act ethically and with integrity at all times.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Crowe is not sponsoring for work authorization at this time.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000.00 - $284,300.00 per year.
